Humans die. Knowledge survives. Co-op for up to four players. Playable through the Middle Ages in the development build.

01 / THE HUMAN SIDE OF HISTORY

A civilization starts
with a handful of people.

Every colonist has a face, a past and a place in your growing community. You shape the work and the rules. They make a life of it.

01. PEOPLE

Everyone
has a story.

Skills, moods, friendships and rivalries. People grow older, find a partner and celebrate together. Newcomers keep the colony growing; wounds, illness and the wild can take someone away.

02. CONTINUITY

People change.
Knowledge stays.

Every discovery belongs to the entire colony, including whoever arrives next. Practice stays personal. Shared experiences become traditions that carry this community into its next age.

YOUR COLONY

Build walls, furnish rooms and set priorities. Even your laws can be broken.

YOUR WORLD

Seven climates. Hard winters, hungry predators, spreading fires and growing raids.

YOUR COMPANY

Play alone or bring three friends. One living world, on the same clock.

02 / A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME

New tools.
The same humanity.

Progress changes how your people live and work. It never turns them into a crowd. The development build is playable through the Middle Ages.

Playable in the development build

Stone Age

Fire, gathering and hunting, knapped stone and hide, brush and hide walls, and the first tended plots.

AGE 01 / 07

Stone, Bronze, Iron and the Middle Ages are playable internally. Industry, the Modern era and the Future are still in development. The panorama is title artwork; screenshots below show the actual game.

04 / A LIVING SIMULATION

Small decisions.
Lasting consequences.

Work / IN THE CURRENT BUILD

You set the work, not the steps

Set priorities yourself or let the colony assign work by people’s abilities and its current needs. Food shortages, missing beds and urgent construction change what matters; the people find their own way through the day.

05 / GOOD TO KNOW

A few
answers.

Something else on your mind?

Talk to us
Can I play it?

The internal development build is playable from the Stone Age through the Middle Ages. There is no public build yet. Availability will appear here when sales open.

When does it release?

There is no date. We would rather show something that holds up than promise a year.

Which platforms?

We build for macOS and Windows during development. Anything beyond that is not decided.

Is there multiplayer?

Yes, co-op: up to four players share one colony, one world and one clock. It is already in the build.

Are children born in the colony?

No. Everybody is grown, nobody is born and nobody dies of old age — people grow grey and die of what the world does to them. A colony grows by who comes to it: wanderers, refugees, prisoners won over, guests who decide to stay.

How does it compare to RimWorld or Dwarf Fortress?

It shares indirect control, personal needs and a world that pushes back. Ageborne follows the same small community across technological eras: new methods and dependencies, with individually meaningful people at its heart.

Which languages?

English and German so far.

BUILT IN SWITZERLAND. STILL GROWING.

Playable through the Middle Ages.
More ages ahead. No release date yet.

06 / YOUR NEXT COLONY

Your next
